Textural Rhythms!

You can go to Sonji's blog for fantastic photos from the opening reception for the Textural Rhythms exhibit!

It looks like there was a really good turnout and it is so exciting to see pictures of everyone's pieces! They are gorgeous! There's Sonji's piece hanging next to mine. What were the odds? I hope she won't mind my "borrowing" the above pic! "My Fab Cousin Jo..." looks great and it's so nice to see it up.

Congrats to all of the other artists included, and I can't wait to read the catalog to know more about the inspirations behind them.

Elle, its exciting for me to see your quilt even in the photo...I'm sure when I get the catalog I'll be carrying it around with me forcing everyone I know and even some I don't know to take a look!

Of course I don't mind you borrowing the picture. It is interesting that our work was hung side by side this time. Each venue will be different, but I wonder how often it will happen over the three year tour.

Congratulations to you and me and everyone and especially Dr. Mazloomi for putting it all together.
