I am so excited! The opening of the
Textural Rhythms: Constructing the Jazz Tradition exhibit, curated by
Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi, is tonight at the King Arts Complex in Columbus, Ohio. I was planning on being there, but my mother's surgery was rescheduled for this past Monday, and I decided that it was best if I stayed here in town. The
accompanying book is available for pre-order, and I can assure you that you find some incredible pieces in it, including
one of mine (winkwink)!!

Elle, I had forgotten that you too where in this exhibit! I had to pass on an opportunity to attend last night with some of my quilting buds, but I'm sooo looking forward to getting the book! Congrats on the show. And continued blessings for you and your mother.
Sonji's got a great review of the event on her blog... including pictures of your quilt! It looks wonderful... I love the composition and dynamic background.
Congratulations Elle! Your quilt is beautiful!
Oh, published art! Congratulations! Hope your mom is doing well.
