G'ma Pieces Fitted...

Well, I finished all of the pieces today, so here she is all fit together, lol.

Now I have to do that darn background. You know, painting and dyeing fabric is a little too messy for me, but you have to do what you've gotta do! LOL.

Elle, are the pieces fused? She looks like she could come to life and speak and I guess in a way that is what she is doing...her gaze is intense.

Looks FANTASTIC! I am in awe of your skill with the paints!

And...where in DC? I was born in DC, so was my first son, and in my heart it will always be "home." Just the sound of the voices makes me homesick! I don't miss summers at all, but the rest of it....sigh!

Where in DC are you? I've lived in Georgetown (at the univ.), near Dupont Circle--maybe halfway to ...oh oh...what's the name of that circle to the west...anyway, halfway to the west end, on Capitol Hill (on Const. Ave NE), then moved to North Arlington before we left DC the last time ----wanh hanhhhhhhhh.....

Cheers, and great work, Sarah
