On Mythology and Legend

DebR, are you watching this?! SciFi's showing a miniseries version of Ring of the Nibelungs. They're calling it Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King. I'm really enjoying it.

I love mythology. I love epic tales. I love fantasy and scifi stories. There's something about them that just takes you to another place. I've always enjoyed reading the myths of cultures from all over the world. One thing that you end up finding it that despite the geographic differences, there are similiarities all over the world in the legends that we tell. Wonderful.

No, I missed it...didn't realize it was on what with having company staying here, but it looks like they'll be repeating it next weekend and I'll try to catch it then. It sounds good!

(One of these days I really need to get Tivo!)

Lots of Debs out here, & apparently we all like Sci-fi/fantasy. Maybe it's the artists in us all. Making something a bit different appeal to us. I don't have cable or sattellite though, all my sci-fi comes in book form. Wish I could watch it too. Sounds fun.
